First apartment - first Dyson vacuum. First home - first Dyson family car. Dyson, the family commuter vehicle.

The purpose with this project was to collaborate with a non automotive brand and develop a car that would clearly show the company’s brand image. I contacted Dyson and came to develop the Dyson Automobile, a car developed with the young family in mind. As part of the research process I was able to visit the Dyson headquarters based in Malmesbury UK.

In this age of TV, video games and internet, the Dyson car enables the family to experience valuable qualilty time. Face to face seating enhances Parent-Child interaction on every journey travelled.

Dysons products have a history of revolutionising markets that they enter. Consequenty I realised that I had to create a similarly radical image. I decided to search for an optimised reduced version of the contempoarary family vehicle.
